Coralling the most relevant and creative on- and off-line bits that pertain to the design community – and said community is openly invited and encouraged to add their hard-earned links.
A growing, collaborative resource that describes, tracks and explains culture, commerce, politics, media, sports, brands – everything possible, really – through design.
August 2009, Update / It's not easy to admit this, but we have sadly neglected The Design Encyclopedia over the last two years due to a combination of both simple and complex reasons and excuses that we shall not expand upon here. A big part of it is that the code behind the site awkwardly broke, making it impossible for new users to sign up and even for the site to run at twenty-first-century internet speeds. There is currently a vague idea of what version 2.0 of TDE might be like but there is not yet the logistics to make it happen.
In the meantime, you can still access the existing content and we apologize for any inconvenience or let-down in the lack of functionality and updates.
