Kansas City Art Institute is a four-year, independent, fully accredited college of art and design offering the bachelor of fine arts degree in animation, art history, ceramics, fiber, graphic design, interdisclplinary art, digital filmmaking, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, creative writing. This institution was founded in 1885 and is located in Kansas City, Missouri. Its initial formation was through the “Sketch Club” with the purpose of “talking over art matters in general and to judge pictures.”The school was recently was named one of America’s best small colleges and seeks to educate students who can adapt to the changing nature of the professional design and illustration fields.
